Shane Kirshenblatt is a Canadian writer and artist. He broke into comics in 2005 as the creator of Dorothy Gale: Journey to Oz (Freefall Entertainment/ Jack Lake Productions Inc.) and has since contributed to many more projects, including the Jewish Comics Anthology Volume 1 (AH Comics), the Joe Shuster Award Nominated Toronto Comics Anthology Volume 3 (Toronto Comics). A five-time recipient of the Ontario Arts Council Artists in Education grant, Shane has been sharing his passion for visual storytelling with students of all ages at schools and conventions for almost two decades. He is currently developing projects for animation while also continuing to work on various comics/graphic novels, including AH Comics’ Mark Twain’s Niagara, and SCI: Jewish Comics Anthology Volume 2.
