Spent Pencils

Spent Pencils

Arnold Trinidad has been drawing for as long as he can remember. His inspiration, like all other artists, comes from watching cartoons and reading comic books during his younger years. His dream at one point was to become a comic book artist. However, life took him to a different path. He is currently working an office job, but still utilize his creative skill by providing graphic design support and service to his team.

His passion of drawing led him to co-founding Spent Pencils. Spent Pencils is a social/collborative group that housed many artists with different skill level. The goal of Spent Pencils is to allow each artists to share, inspire and grow their creative knowledge by working with one another.

Another proud achievement for Arnold is co-founding a charity event called Sketches for Pledges. All the money collected from each commissions done by the artists who volunteered and participated in the event are donated fully. This include the children’s hospital, the special olympic and other medical research that needs financial assistance and awareness to the cause. Since it’s conception, Sketches for Pledges has raised closed to $10, 000.

Currently, Arnold is in the process of producing his own comic book, TOY SOULDIER. It is a long time in the making and will soon make it’s published appearance.
